Where the Performer is over 18 years for age:
I, the Performer, grant to
(the “Video Entrant”) the right to make an audio
and/or visual recording of my performance in the video entry (the Recording).
Where the Performer is under 18 years of age:
I
[name] the PARENT / LEGAL GUARDIAN [strike whichever is not applicable] of the above-named child, grant to
(the “Video Entrant”) the right to
make an audio and/or visual recording of my child’s performance in the video entry (the Recording).
I agree that the Video Entrant owns all rights in all media throughout the world in the Recording. To the extent that I may
own any, I assign all present and future copyright owned by me in the Recording to the Video Entrant. The Video Entrant
may use and authorise the use of the Recording in whole or part in any manner the Video Entrant considers appropriate,
including for promotional purposes, editing, synchronisation with visual images, adaptation for other publications (written or
electronic) and re-publication.
I authorise the Video Entrant to use and authorise the use of my name, likeness, voice and biographical material in connection with any use of the Recording.
I grant the Video Entrant a non-exclusive royalty free licence to use and sub-license the use of the Works in all media
throughout the world in perpetuity in or in association with the video entry (in whole or part thereof).
I warrant that there are no restrictions that prevent me from undertaking the performance and agreeing to these terms, and
that the consent of no other person is required to enable the Video Entrant to make and exploit the Recording. I release and
indemnify the Video Entrant, his/ her assignees, and licensees from and against any claims arising from any breach of this
warranty and the exercise of the rights granted herein.
