Measures of Functional Communication
Based Upon Information from Hearing Them Into Voice
Evaluate each of the three communicative functions (Social Interaction, Sharing Information,
Expressing Unique Identity) and on the Goal Attainment Scale of -2, -1, 0, +1, +2.
-2 shows regression of language use
-1 equals baseline,
0 achieves goal,
+1 exceeds goal,
+2 exceeds goal across environments (home, school, community, career)
