This is a reference of the roles/parts that are in each scene or act. When you follow the rehearsal
schedule, you can use this description guide to determine if you are called for a rehearsal.

REHEARSAL SCHEDULE TERMINOLOGY GUIDE
This is a reference to the terminology used in the rehearsal schedule.
Act: Complete section of ballet from the curtain rise to the curtain fall
Scenes: Sections in a particular act of the ballet
Prologue: Beginning of an act
Finale or Apotheosis: Culmination of an act or of the ballet
Full Call: All cast members involved in an act, scene or dance are called to rehearsal
To Be Announced or TBA: Rehearsal or Cast that is To Be Announced
Subject to Change: Any casting or schedule may be subject to change
Except: Cast members who are in scene but are not called for rehearsal or part of scene
Theatre Opens: The time when the theatre is open for the cast to arrive
Run Through: Complete run through of a particular scene, act or the ballet
Technical Rehearsal: Rehearsal that is for production theatre technical needs with cast
Spacing Rehearsal: Rehearsal for cast members to review their places on stage
Grand Dress Rehearsal: Full performance run-through with costumes and make-up
