currentorthodonticresidentsandbettertrackingeffortsareunderwaytoensurethe
informationisgiventoasmanyorthodonticresidentsaspossible.Otherpossible
changesincludetheoptionofintroducinganinformalmeetingheldafterhourswitha
recentgraduateoradjunctfacultymemberleadingtheResidentVitalsdialogue.
The2017PracticeTransitionSeminarisscheduledforFriday,April21inconjunction
withtheAAOAnnualSession.Itwillfeaturenetworkingandroundtablelunch

COOPreviewedtheAAOInformedConsentvideoandrecommendedtotheAAOBOT
thatthevideobeupdatedtoincludemoreinformationaboutrootresorptionand
periodontaldisease.OnceupdatedbytheAAOServices,Inc.,thenewmediaformat
likelyusedtoproduceanInformedConsentproductwillbepostedontheAAOwebsite
and/orYouTubetoprotectourmembers.
In2016–2017,aseriesof12webinarshavebeenplannedfordoctorsand/orstaff.
Lectureswillbeonclinicalandpracticemanagementtopics.Aseriesofsixwebinars
havebeenplannedforTheBusinessofOrthodonticsWebinarSerieswhichareprovided
atnochargeliveorarchivedforallAAOmembers.
ThePracticeOpportunitiesServiceisavailabletoallAAOmembers,whetherlookingto
sellorbuyapractice,orlookingforanassociateorassociateship.Thisisanextremely
valuablememberbenefit,soifyouarelookingtomakeapracticetransition,besureto
