Objectives
: To define industrial rocks and minerals and indicate its place in
the complex fabric of modern industry, and to describe the
geology and uses of the major deposits.
About the course : No textbook is required. Three lectures week. Two one hour
exams plus final exam. Term paper is required on one of the
industrial uses of rocks and minerals.
