•Genotype-an organisms
genetic makeup
-Example: a possible
genotype for a tall plant
could be TT or Tt
• Homozygous- an organism with
two of the same alleles for a trait,
–Example- TT or tt
–TT is Homozygous Dominant
–tt is Homozygous Recessive
• Another way to say Homozygous
is Purebred.
•Heterozygous-an organism
with two different alleles
for a trait
Example- Tt
•Another way to say
Heterozygous is Hybrid.
