I saw my favourite play
in the local theatre
with my classmates
in the National Theatre in Budapest
last month.
a few weeks ago.
It was an excellent
comedy/ tragedy/ opera/ operetta/ musical/ ballet/ performance.
It was a successful play, so
I could hardly get the ticket(s).
I bought the ticket(s) well in advance.
I had to stand in a long queue when I bought the ticket(s).
The title of the play was

captivating,

especially the last act was
extremely exciting.
really entertaining.
The scenery and the costumes were excellent.
The acting was
fabulous.
The stage management was
impressive.
The main character was
splendid.
The conductor was
superb.
The orchestra was
outstanding.
The dancing was
remarkable.
The singing was
marvellous.
The soloist
sang in tune.
About the plot.
There was a full house in the theatre. The play was a great success, the actors took five curtain calls.
The audience was applauding them loudly standing up from their seats. I enjoyed every minute of the
performance, I think it was worth seeing. I would certainly see it if I were you.
