What Is It?
What Is The Source?
Pancreatic Enzyme Formula provides natural enzymes to
nutritionally support proper digestive function. This formula is
now offered in acid-resistant capsules with pH targeted release for
maximal enzyme delivery to the small intestine.*
Pancreatin is a full-strength, undiluted porcine extract, containing
digestive enzymes lipase, protease and amylase in their natural
ranges. Gellan gum is derived from Pseudomonas elodea.

Digestion Support: Pancreatic Enzyme Formula is designed to aid the
body’s natural digestive process. It provides a highly concentrated
form of enzymes naturally secreted by the pancreas, which are
essential to the digestion of food and absorption of nutrients. The
formula contains lipase, which digests fat; proteases, which digest
protein; and amylases, which digest starch.*

Pancreatic Enzyme Formula is offered in acid-resistant capsules
with pH targeted release. These capsules are designed to resist
disintegration in an acidic environment (i.e. stomach) and dissolve
in more alkaline environments (i.e. small and large intestine). This
technology helps to protect the enzymes from stomach acid.
At this time, there are no known adverse reactions when taken in
conjunction with medications. Consult your physician for more
information.

After two hours in pH 1.2 simlated gastric fluids, less than 20% of capsule contents
were released. After 45 minutes in pH 6.8 simulated intestinal fluids, more than 80%
of capsule contents had dissolved.
