2016 Intern Sales Communications Coordinator
ABOUT THE JOB
The Intern Sales Communications Coordinator reports to the SVP, Sale Communications Manager within Key Corporate Bank’s Corporate Center in support of
Key Corporate Bank’s business objectives. The Coordinator will provide project support to the teams within the Sales Communications group: Internal
Communications, Marketing and Client Event Management, and at times, the other Corporate Center teams and line of business (internal) clients. The
Coordinator will also interface with Key’s Corporate Marketing organization (strategy, implementation, creative services, database marketing, etc). Additionally,
the Coordinator will act as a liaison to Key’s Corporate internal and external Communications groups.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
• Effectively collaborate with Sales Communications, Corporate Center teams, Line of Business clients and the Corporate Marketing and Communications
organizations.
• Partner with KeyBanc Capital Markets’ sales teams to coordinate the creation and distribution of the group’s external deal announcements and quarterly
industry newsletters.
• Assist with composing, compiling and distributing internal communications such as: Biweekly Success Stories, the quarterly Cornerstones Newsletter.
• Maintain the Corporate Bank pitch book library with updates as they become available
• Support event communications and marketing needs for Client Event Management team • Other projects as assigned by Sales Communications Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or journalism/communications, English preferred
• A minimum 3.3 GPA • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with external and internal clients, including senior leaders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strict adherence to deadlines and competing priorities.
• Service orientation and a bias for action
• Proficiency with Microsoft
