Voltage fluctuations can cause severe problems for many consumers in a power grid. Whenever a voltage deviation
occurs, the BELECTRIC Hybrid Controller ensures the supply of reactive power via the different energy sources in
order to minimize such voltage deviations. With the right choice of inverters for your solar power plant, this can

to ensure this. By allocating the required resources of conventional rotating engines and inverters with virtual
inertia, by smartly distributing primary control reserves between all connected units, and by cyclic adaptation of
all necessary power set points, the Hybrid Controller handles all kinds of dynamic load variations to be expected in
your grid. This keeps the grid frequency as stable as you want it to be!

Hybrid Controller System Topology:
The overall control unit is the Grid Control Box (GCB) which determines the required set points for the different
units of the hybrid power plant and gives commands to the distributed Power Control Boxes (PCB). The PCBs
control the different generation units through individual Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC).
