Create an advertisement to promote buying a house or renting an apartment in one of the above
areas. Describe the advantages of living in this area by using the current unit’s vocabulary.
Include:

8 or more advantages: Ex: There’s no noise. It’s near the stores. It has good public
transportation. You can visit museums. It’s safer than the city. There is no pollution. Use a
variety of ways to begin your sentences (there is, it has, it is, one can, etc.)

3 different Ud. commands: Ex: Move to the suburbs! Don’t live on an isolated farm!
Verbs must be different and correct to receive credit!

2 subjunctive sentences with 4 different verbs: Ex: We hope you enjoy your new home!
All verbs used in commands AND in subjunctive sentences must be different from each
other and correct to receive credit!

15 new vocabulary words: Use your packet vocabulary (text – pp. 62-63 ) – words must be
spelled correctly to count!

Accurate grammar and spelling: Check your verb endings, commands, spelling,
agreement (masc/fem/sing/pl), word order, accents etc.

Neatness / pictures / color: Appearance counts! Include 2 pictures or drawings and add
color to your ad. Print neatly or type your sentences.

Rough Draft: Include a rough draft in your own handwriting of the advantages, commands,
and subjunctive sentences.
Due date: el miercoles, 17 de febrero. If you turn it in Friday, Feb. 12,, you will receive 3
extra credit points. If you turn it in late you will lose 5 points each day it is late. It will count as
a quiz grade!
