Policy with Consignment Stock of Brook

Medway Electric Motor Centre will offer the following, as recently
implemented at Tate & Lyle Europe:

To establish a repair or replace policy for low and medium voltage
AC electric motors
Establish and agree size of electric motors affected by this policy
Provide Brook Crompton/ABB range of low and medium voltage
AC electric motors on a consignment stock basis after agreeing to
size and quantity of motors
Carry out identification of existing electric motor inventory,
identify duplications if any and rationalise stocks where
applicable
Identify old/non-efficient AC motors and advise on disposal and
resale where possible
Identify old Imperial and NEMA frame AC motors and convert to
current metric range where applicable
Review motor/gearbox units
Review DC motors
Invoicing of motors on consignment stock
A replacement purchase order number will be issued by the customer to
Medway Electric Motor Centre each time a motor is used from
consignment stock.
Stock audit
Medway Electric Motor Centre reserves the right to visit the the
customer premises during normal working hours in order to do stock
checks.
Terms of Payment
Payment terms are 45 days net.
Insurance
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all consignment
stock is covered by their insurance policy.

Stock quality
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure the stock is kept in
good condition. In the event of the motors being returned, they must be
in good condition. If any damage is found, the customer will be charged
for repair or replacement, which ever is applicable.
Title of goods
Title to goods does not pass until payment has been received. This
condition will prevail in the event of any conflict.
Termination of contract
The agreement may be terminated at any time by either party giving 60
days notice. After termination of the agreement, the stock will be
reclaimed by Medway Electric Motor Centre and any missing or
damaged items invoiced in full to the customer.
