World History Facebook Assignment
Task: In groups of two you are going to choose one of the monarchs from the list below
and create a fake facebook profile for the person.
Monarchs (choose ONE):
 Louis XIV
 Peter the Great (Peter I)
 Catherine the Great (Catherine II)
 Maria Theresa
 Elizabeth I
 King James I
 Frederick the Great of Prussia (Frederick II)
 Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor
 Leopold II, Holy Roman Emperor
On a Facebook template you must include the following:






You must include your name and a bio of your monarch at the top of the sheet.
Your bio should include background about your monarch’s life. Your bio should
be factually based.
You need a profile picture of your monarch. You can either print this out or draw
it.
You must answer the five questions on your “info” page. Your answers should be
factually based.
You must find at least two friends of your monarch. You can either print or draw
a picture of your friends. Your friends go in the bottom left part of your template.
Be sure to include their names as well.
You need three comments from three different people on your “wall.” These
comments should come from a mix of fiends and foes. These comments need to
be factually based and appropriate for school. Inappropriate comments will result
on ZERO on the assignment.
