INFORMATION NOTE TO NURSING PERSONNEL: MRI Technologists screen all
patients and staff before entering the scanning room. Patients must be able to
communicate with Technologist or have a family member available to confirm
screening information. If the patient requires an interpreter, the nursing unit will
make arrangements for Interpretive Services to be available for the procedure. The
nursing unit will then advise Diagnostic Imaging that these arrangements have been
made.
Screening forms may be ordered through Stores (CH-18821)
