The Magic Universe of Cells
1. Using this website, http://www.cellsalive.com/cells/cell_model.htm,
draw, label, and define the parts of an animal cell and a plant cell. You
need to include at least: nucleus, nucleolus, endoplasmic reticulum,
mitochondrion, cell membrane, cell wall, ribosomes, golgi apparatus,
cytoplasm, vacuoles, centrioles, lysosomes, nuclear envelope, and
chromatin. If there is a reason you cannot include one (or more) of the
components listed you must explain why. Please make sure the
picture is highly detailed, accurate, appropriately scaled, appropriately
colored, and clearly labeled so that others can interpret the information
correctly.
2. After finishing your two drawings answer the question “How are
"structure" and "function" related in biology?” using any resource you
need.
