The conference is held every two years to make it an ideal platform for people to share their views and experiences in the said areas. Papers are invited in all areas of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence including but not limited to the following. Topics: • Pattern Recognition • Symbolic Data Analysis • Fractals • Neural Networks • Text Mining • Wavelets • Machine Learning • Bio-informatics • Steganography & Digital Watermarking • Soft Computing • Web Intelligence • Content Based Image Retrieval • Fuzzy Sets • Case Based Reasoning • Computational Biology • Rough Sets • Biometrics • Brain Modeling • Evolutionary Computing • Remote Sensing • Cognitive Science • Data Mining & Knowledge Discovery • Computer Vision • Uncertainty Analysis • Applications of Soft Computing • Medical Imaging • Hardware for PR & ML Proceedings: All accepted papers, whose author(s) register, would be included in the conference proceedings to be published by Springer-Verlag in the LNCS series. Special Issues: Expanded versions of selected papers will be published in special issues of reputed journals. Tutorials: There will be six two-hour tutorials, spread over December 16 and 17, 2009. Special Sessions: Conference will have sessions on specific topics of interest. Location: The conference will be held in the Indian Institute of Technology Campus, which is in the southern fringes of Delhi. It is close to Delhi international airport.
