The Virgo Entourage – Releasing Guilt Patterns
The summer of 2006 brings many opportunities for clarity in releasing ancient,
unconsciousness guilt patterns from the human psyche. Much of this guilt patterning
has been used to increasingly condition human behaviors over the last 5,000 years,
mainly in the name of religious interests.
The Pluto in Virgo (1956/57 – 1971/72) generation of souls has felt this more deeply
than most. Therefore, they have much to benefit in their self-love journey as the Sun,
Mercury, Venus, Mars and the asteroid Lucifer transit the tropical sign of Virgo JulySeptember. This collective passage finds each of them meeting the Moon’s South
Node in its transit (backwards mean motion) through Virgo.
As human-made religions arose on planet Earth, many were based upon (false) beliefs
that there must be some kind of separation between spirit and flesh in order to be holy.
The pagan nature “religions” observed no such separation and practiced sexuality as a
natural part of life. They experienced life through their body of senses in harmony with
nature and all its spirits.
Somewhere along the way, goddess was replaced with a god to become the one God
to be obeyed or else. This also coincides with the downfall of what is known as
matriarchal times and rise of the patriarchy. The matriarchal communal family unit was
replaced with the patriarchal individual family unit.
Religions became formalized through the Great Ages of Aries and Pisces. God
became a perfect, anthropomorphic male, judging humans from some great space in
the sky. Those who did not follow the increasingly complex right/wrong rules of their
specific religion were made to feel guilt. Many times punishment for disobeying or
ignoring these rules was quite harsh. This is still true today.
Nature was increasingly ignored as well. Humans who wished to remain close to
nature and the animal and vegetative worlds were punished the worst. Hundreds of
thousands of years living in harmony with nature were now ignored.
Our natural intuitive senses were labeled the work of the “devil” and evil. The feminine
gender of the human species is wired for inward guidance. This became a basis for
severely suppressing the feminine archetype and its of honoring the senses. Most
humans today no longer trust their inner guidance system, continually looking for
answers and approval outside of self, including the search for an outward god.
Today the vast majority of belief systems, western and eastern, have become quite
rigid in their right/wrong rules of conduct and suppression of the feminine. However,
we see the pendulum beginning to swing. Movies such as The Da Vinci Code are
raising the question of what the female roles in religious history actually were. The
transition of the great ages into the Age of Aquarius brings lessons of balance between
the masculine and feminine archetypes.
The polarity of Virgo and Pisces show both the distortions and natural expressions of
spiritual growth from the Piscean Age. As humans were forced to accept a perfect,
male god outside of themselves, guilt at our very human imperfections became the
norm and great conditioning factor. Deviation from the standards of right/wrong
conduct, with its harsh punishments, created more guilt, generation after generation.
Over time humans had two responses to this guilt: atonement and anger. The
atonement side brought feelings that we deserved to be punished, especially when we
fell into any temptations of the flesh. It created the energy of victimization and
masochism in its extremes. The anger side created actions of lashing out at others,
blaming them (especially women) for making us fall for the temptations of the flesh. It
created the energy of victorization and sadism. Sadomasochism directly stems from
human-made religions based upon the impossible separation of spirit and flesh.
Virgo can represent the flesh and all its imperfections. Pisces can represent spirit and
the potential for perfection. They both can actualize either end of the victim/victor
response to deep, unconscious, conditioned guilt over the last two thousand years of
the Piscean Age.
There is natural guilt such as cruel behavior to another human being. When the sadist
experiences this and feels a glimpse of remorse/guilt, it is covered up with more anger
and finger-pointing, blaming the masochist for its own distorted behaviors. The cycles
of sadomasochistic behavior can be endless. Any soul can manifest both atonement
and anger. We can find ourselves alternating the roles in different relationships.
This patterning can be as simple as the victim energy of letting friends always have
their way. It can be the spiritual masochist somehow believing they must suffer to find
redemption. It is the female making less money then her male co-worker for the same
job. It can be the cruel words we say to those we love the most. It is judging other
belief systems. We barely recognize these distorted patterns anymore. We are all
conditioned with this guilt patterning to some degree.
The Pluto in Virgo generation came through with this conditioned guilt and its
atonement/anger responses to the depth of their souls. Their lessons are the Piscean
unconditional love, starting with self, to teach all souls on the planet these same
lessons. The essence of natural spirituality is realizing that the Universal Source is an
evolving force, found within first, and totally beyond the gender wars.
Virgo, ruled by Mercury, naturally analyzes what is wrong and imperfect. This
realization of what is missing can lead to deep inner voids that are filled up with all
kinds of procrastinating behaviors. We attempt to fill the void with food, work, TV,
drugs, excuses, escapes, paralysis, unhealthy relationships and anything that attempts
to make us feel worthy and OK.
Virgo faces the lesson of realizing that the only thing that will really fill the void is a
direct, inner relationship with Universal Source. This will transform the same
avoidance patterns into tools on the path to evolve and self-improve. This relationship
starts with simple conversations in our head. Meditation is an excellent tool to quiet
the inner chatter into meaningful messages.
The avoidance behaviors create crisis, which is the mechanism to bring awareness to
the need for an inner life with God/Goddess. We make an attempt or promise to do so
in the moment of crisis, and then fall back into old the familiar patterns when the crisis
has passed. Then more guilt and atonement/anger sets in again as an endless cycle.
Our human-made conditionings to believe in a perfect god, outside of self, easily lead
to a sense of helplessness and depression. How does imperfect Virgo ever get to the
Piscean potential for perfection? Look around at nature and the natural law of
evolution. Perfection is a process. Perhaps the biggest lie and disservice of humanmade religions is conditioning souls to believe God is perfect. Why would something
perfect create this mess? Is it possible that the Universal Source brought all this into
manifestation in an effort to evolve itself? Could we actually be Co-Creators?
The beauty of Virgo is its ability to create self-improvement. Whether it is releasing
weight, creating healthy relationships, manifesting money or merging with Universal
Source, the value is in our repeated efforts. Inch by inch, we evolve on the path to
perfecting. Virgo creates new, healthier patterns through consistent practice.
The natural law of polarity came into existence when Universal Source manifested
itself in the world. Day and night, separation and return, light and dark and the
polarities of the signs of the zodiac show us this natural law.
The laws of physics find that matter in the physical universe is 51% and anti-matter is
49%. When matter and anti-matter are forced to collide they return to pure energy. In
Evolutionary Astrology, we observe this to be the returning (51%) and separating
(49%) desires within souls and the returning (51%) and separating (49%) forces in the
universe.
These separating forces and desires can be correlated in astrology through the
asteroid Lucifer (#1930). It is known as both the fallen angel and the bearer of light. It
is the area where we can find our weakest link, or greatest separating energies. It can
also represent our ability to turn darkness into light, or become our point of returning
force.
Human-made religions have distorted our natural fears of darkness and evil in order to
have control. They have conditioned our beliefs in regard to our personal power and
ability to address these fears. Power has been given to outside “holy authorities” to
save us from evil. When souls question this, they are made to be evil themselves.
What happens to darkness when the light is turned on? It exposes whatever is hidden
into conscious awareness. The same thing happens with the collision of matter and
anti-matter, and one sign of the zodiac understanding its polarity. We each have the
personal power within us to turn our own darkness into light. We each can find
Universal Source within to co-create our self-healing process.
Lucifer is transiting through Virgo from June 30 through September 24, 2006. Virgo
can turn the light on its self-doubt and inner/outer criticism. It can take the step-by-step
self-improvement process in every area of life until it reaches its Piscean polarity of
deep, unconditional self-love in all our human imperfections. This summer will
experience all the personal inner planets and Lucifer transiting through Virgo to help
with these processes.
We have free choice to tear ourselves down or build ourselves up. Whatever we
choose to energize we will manifest in the natural law of attraction. The Virgo lesson is
the repeated effort, again and again, in the direction we desire to evolve, regardless of
Luciferian attempts to trip us up with the opposite reality we intended. The separating
forces are intent on maintaining an illusion of separation from Universal Source to
maintain their own existence. Another movie, The Secret (www.whatisthesecret.tv),
shows practical ways to consistently change our law of attraction.
The South Node (emotional past) of the Moon transits through Virgo and the North
Node (emotional future) of the Moon transits through Pisces from June 22, 2006
through December 18, 2007. Their mean motion of traveling retrograde can represent
the unraveling of old emotional patterns through the signs of the zodiac. At the same
time it can reveal the new emotional patterns we aspire to create.
The South Node transit through Virgo will reveal wherever we have these selfdefeating, avoidance patterns. The North Node is where to make the consistent effort
in emotionally reconnecting to Universal Source and unconditionally loving our self.
The old Virgoian patterns to be released will be highlighted by a South Node eclipse
season, starting with a Lunar Eclipse on September 7 at 15 degrees Virgo/Pisces.
This will be the emotional meltdown point. It will be followed two weeks later with a
Solar Eclipse on September 22 (just before the Autumnal Equinox) at 29/30 degrees
Virgo. This will be the umpteenth effort to start afresh. The point to remember is this:
if we make 20 attempts to change old patterns and we fall short 20 times, Virgo energy
tries a 21st time, and a 22nd, etc. We will always be in process of self-healing.
One by one throughout September the personal planets and Lucifer will intersect the
South Node in Virgo at 25/26 degrees while Pluto at 24/25 degrees Sagittarius squares
both Nodes. The Luciferian darkness can bring out our worst self-defeating
sadomasochistic behaviors. We all have the potential to bring these patterns into the
light of day and repeatedly in Virgo-like fashion create new patterns.
Pluto in Sag will continue to reveal personal truths and timeless universal truths. This
is also known as natural spiritual laws and principles. We can set intent to have any
and all un-truths revealed this summer. Just remember that Pluto square the Nodal
axis continually puts us at a crossroads of tension between our emotional past and
future.
Here are the planetary transits through Virgo, including the asteroid Lucifer:
Lucifer – June 30 through September 24
Mars – July 22 through September 7
Sun – August 22 through September 22
Mercury – August 27 through September 12
Venus – September 5 through September 30
Here are the dates when each of these planets conjunct the South Node and Lucifer:
August 16 – Mars conjunct Lucifer, 15/16 degrees Virgo
September 1 – Mars conjunct South Node, 25/26 degrees Virgo
September 9 – Mercury conjunct Lucifer, 24/25 degrees Virgo
September 10 – Mercury conjunct South Node, 25/26 degrees Virgo
September 12 – Lucifer conjunct South Node, 25/26 degrees Virgo
September 18 – Sun conjunct South Node, 25/26 degrees Virgo
September 21 – Sun conjunct Lucifer, 28/29 degrees Virgo
September 26 – Venus conjunct South Node, 25/26 degrees Virgo
October 2 – Venus conjunct Lucifer, 2/3 degrees Libra
Virgo is the sign to teach us self-improvement through humiliation. It is a natural
process on the path from Leo’s fullness of self to Libra’s balance of giving and
receiving with others. This humiliation process has been distorted to keep the
masochists in atonement and the sadists in anger. We must realize that humiliation
helps us self-reflect and make improvements. Let go of the judgments around this
word to help let go of the guilt. If you make your desire to evolve a priority, you can
utilize the natural humiliation process to make leaps of growth.
Mars in Virgo can initiate steps of growth in loving our body temple with better health
habits. It can commit to only those actions which are self-loving. Mars can be very
helpful to Virgo in making repeated attempts in many areas. For instance, it can start
anew each and every day with better dietary or relating actions.
The Sun in Virgo can help us become more conscious of old self-inflicting patterns.
Consciousness of the pattern is the first step in changing it. We can choose to see any
situation as the “cup half-empty” or the “cup half-full.” Sun in Virgo brings the strength
in our efforts to self-improve.
Mercury in Virgo, which it rules, can change the self-talk. Inner criticism always
attracts outer criticism. Virgo is a mutable sign which lends itself to adaptability.
Mercury can practice halting old, negative attitudes and sentences, even in midsentence. It can improve any situation with more positive, loving attitudes and
sentences, even after we have said something we wish we could take back.
Venus in Virgo is all about self-love. Venus can help us be gentle and turn criticism
into constructive change. Virgo’s natural expression is the healer, and the best place
to start is with our self. Virgo is an earth sign and a path to heal the re-merging of flesh
with spirit. It can help us understand our sensuality is a natural expression for
spirituality.
This concentration of planetary energies in Virgo brings opportunity to our crises. It
allows us to become aware of all the many ways we can heal self and the planet. May
you be most successful.
