We have 8 (eight) planets in our solar system.
All the planets circle around “The Sun”.
The Solar System consists of Planets, moons, asteroids etc.
We live on Earth.
Earth is the only planet that supports life.
The name of the Planets are:
a. Mercury (1st) – Smallest planet and grey in colour.
b. Venus (2nd) – Brightest planet and is yellow in colour.
c. Earth (3rd) – It’s colour is blue and green and it supports life.
d. Mars (4th) – It is named as Red Planet due to its colour.
e. Jupiter (5th) – It is the largest planet of all with orange and
white bands.
f. Saturn (6th) – It is golden in colour and it has a ring.
g. Uranus (7th) – It is pale blue in colour and made up of ice.
h. Neptune (8th) – Last planet of the solar system and its colour is
dark blue.
