Norbain Announces Elmdene’s New High Power CCTV PSU Range

Norbain is pleased to be able to offer customers five new high power CCTV power supplies from
Elmdene’s Vision range. Ideal for powering multi-device installations, they are offered in high quality
enclosures (wall & 19” rack mount) and are available in both 12VDC and 24VAC variants.
The boxed 12VDC models are available in 16A and 20A versions:
VRS1216000-16-S
VRS1220000-24-S
16A providing 16 x 1A fused outputs
20A providing 24 x 800mA fused outputs
The 19” rack mounted 12V dc model is available in an 18A version:
VRS1218000-18
18A providing 18 x 1A fused outputs (PTC - auto resetting)
All variants feature ‘fuse health’ LEDs which illuminate to indicate a channel is healthy, offering quick
diagnosis of blown fuses. If required, a potentiometer on the power module allows adjustment of
the output voltage, which can assist when witnessing voltage drop issues over longer cable runs.
The sturdy wall enclosure offers ample cable entry points on the rear of the enclosure, providing
easy access due to the extra height from the enclosure standoff mounts. The 19” rack offers easy
access rear screw terminals for power connections.
The units have been designed to complement the existing Vision products and offer all the benefits
of the range such as efficient switch mode operation and high reliability.
The boxed 24VAC models are available in 16A versions:

16A providing 8 x 2A fused outputs
16A providing 16 x 1A fused outputs
These boxed 24VAC models are rated at 16A and can provide an installation with either 8 x 2A or 16
x 1A individually fused outputs. To complement the fuses, the power supplies also feature ‘fuse
health’ LEDs.
There are ample cable entry points on the rear of the sturdy enclosure which are easily accessible
due to the additional height provided by the standoff mount.
