WHAT WE OFFER
PARTNERS
OTHER SERVICES
We are based in Winchester at St James Dental
Practice and offer specialist orthodontic treatment
to the highest standards in relaxed and friendly
surroundings.
We treat both children and adults with the latest
orthodontic technologies, materials and techniques.
THE NEXT STEP
Traditional Braces
Traditional braces are the most
common type of fixed brace fitted
in the UK. They deliver high quality
and reliable results.
Cosmetic Braces
Cosmetic or clear braces use
either
transparent
or
toothcoloured brackets and provide a
less conspicuous option to metal
braces. They provide great results
and are one of the more affordable
treatments.
Invisalign
Invisalign is an alternative to traditional braces. It involves wearing a
series of removable clear plastic
dental aligners 20-22 hours a day
(removed for eating and cleaning).
Like other brace technologies,
treatment typically takes 9-18
months.
Lingual Braces
Lingual braces offer a completely
invisible option. The braces are
placed on the back of the teeth, in
the reverse fashion to traditional
braces.
For a Private Consultation with Eva please call us or
visit us at the practice. You do not need to be
referred by your dentist.
We advise all patients choosing to go ahead with
orthodontic treatment be registered with a dentist.
We will correspond with your dentist throughout in
order to maintain your dental health.
We are also able to do emergency repairs to your
brace, to re-apply brackets, or fit retainers, should
you be a long way from home and unable to travel to
your normal orthodontist. The fee for this is on a case
by case basis and will be clearly outlined prior to your
treatment.
We offer custom made sports guards which fit over
braces and still allow for movement of the teeth
during treatment. These are the gold standard and
prevent injuries to the teeth during treatment.
We can also continue your orthodontic treatment
from another orthodontist or dentist. This might be,
for example, if you've relocated to Winchester. In this
case, an initial £125 consultation fee with be charged
and then a charge on a 'by appointment' basis until
treatment completion.
