Presentation Medium: Newsletter or Newspaper
Length: 2 pages
Items that MUST be included:
 Biography
 Major Works
 Listening Example
 Five other world events during the life of composer
 Your opinion of the composer and his/her music
 Picture of composer (drawn or computerized)
You MUST have at least ONE of the following:
 Any type of puzzle (crossword, word search, word jumble, etc.)
 Comic relating to the composer (drawn or computerized)
 Editorial section
 Ad for anything relating to the composer or musical period
 Anything approved by Mr. McL
Construction: Can be completely computerized or a mix
Bibliography:
 MUST have at least 2 sources (internet, book, etc.)
 Include them in a section of the newspaper
 Plagiarism will not be tolerated and will result in a failure
Oral Presentation:
 One listening example (iPod, iPhone, CD,
Laptop)
 Brief biography of your composer
 Your opinion on the composer and his/her
music
 Any funny or weird facts?
 Present in whatever way you feel most
comfortable (note cards, memorized, etc.)
