School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science Department of Computer Science Programmes offered: • Integrated M.Sc. Computer Science: -25 • M.Sc. In Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) - 20 (4 Semesters) • Ph.D. Objectives of the Programme : The M.Sc. Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) is designed to provide a specialized program to train future generations of students in both theoretical and practical aspects of AI. This will be a rigorous study program at postgraduate level covering both depth and breadth of all relevant areas, and providing substantial research training. The aim is to produce graduates who will be leaders in the field and full fill the need of both in AI industry, research and academic organizations. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a fascinating field of study in modern science and engineering faculties. Its aims are twofold: developing a theory of understanding intelligence and building programs that exhibit human-like behaviors. Since its inception 1956, this field has been studied as a core element of computer science and engineering programs around the world. It is envisioned that the AI will remain a challenging field in the 21st century too. The M.Sc.
