Job Summary
This is a decision support position. This individual will provide support in all aspects of the design,
mapping, development and testing of data movement for a data warehouse environment with
emphasis on the Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) process. Individuals in this positi8on must
understand the development and maintenance techniques surrounding data movement and
extraction.
Essential Duties:
• Develops and manages warehouse schema.
• Assists with SQL tuning
• Create Views, tables, snapshots to support reporting
• Works closely with client management to identify specific complex business management
requirement and business processes.
• Responsible for the design, development, coding, texting , debugging and documentation of
Applications to satisfy the requirements of end users.
• Mentors Junior developers
• Performs other duties as assigned
Education
A bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Data Processing or a related field with 5 years of
experience in System design and programming of data processing applications
Experience and or knowledge
Requires at least 5 year of experience with Administration Applications as systems Analyst.
Experience in Database administration is required. Must have good verbal and writing skills. Has
done SQL programming. Experience with Oracle, or other database languages is a must
Leadership.
May be responsible for mentoring and directing other part or full time staff and student assistants.
