Health Science Clinical Rotation II
Course Overview:
Clinical Rotation II is the continuation of the first course designed to introduce students to the
variety of careers in the medical field. Students will apply basic first aid, AED, and CPR skills.
For this course, students will intern and observe various departments at the local hospital,
such as physical therapy, obstetrics, pediatrics, radiology, and surgery.

Requirements:
Grade Levels: 11-12
Recommended Prerequisite: Principles of Health Science, Medical Terminology, Biology
Required Prerequisite: Clinical Rotations I
Students must pass a drug screen to participate in this course.

Students will take part in a non-paid internship experience at the local hospital, where they
will observe or train with health care professionals. This course takes place in both a classroom
and clinical setting, where students apply skills and explore careers in the medical field.
In grade 9-12, students will have the opportunity to participate in:

CPR Certification
