Energy Sector Rotational Graduate
Siemens Energy | UK Wide Rotations
Siemens are currently recruiting Mechanical or
Electrical/Electronic Engineering graduates to start
employment in October 2014, working in a rotational
programme in our Energy sector. The ideal
candidates for this role will have a keen interest in
energy and the renewable energy market.
This is a very exciting opportunity for Mechanical or
Electrical Engineering Graduates wanting to gain a
unique understanding of our sector. The successful
candidates will participate in a rotation programme
which will expose them to divisions in the Energy
sector over a two year period. Each placement lasts 6
months.
As well as an in-house Induction and Career
Development Programme, you will take part in the
national Siemens Graduate Development
Programme. This consists of a series of modules
covering the personal skills you will need at this stage
in your career. You will be assigned a mentor from
within the business who will coach you in developing
and working within a complex organisation. You will
also receive job specific training and development.
 Conduct detailed data/information analysis and
using these findings, develop and present
recommendations to senior management.
 Independently manage small business
improvement projects, using Siemens and industry
recognised project management processes.
 Manage the implementation of new company
initiatives and policies
 Manage and co-ordinate Siemens presence at
events such as exhibitions, to ensure the company
is represented appropriately.
 Support the company key account management
process and teams
 Support the development of new opportunities and
projects
 Work as part of the time in outages and other
service activities
What do I need to qualify for this job?
 You must be studying towards, or have completed
an Electrical/Electronic or Mechanical Engineering
Degree with a minimum of a 2:2 or above.
 Ideally you should have some work experience to
complement your academic achievements.
