Kids Art and Drawing with Belinda Lindhardt
Mondays 1 May - 26 Jun 4:00pm - 5:30pm,
Ages 6-14yrs $165/$155 (members) for eight
weeks. This class covers a little of everything to
give students experience with a variety of
different mediums. Students will draw and paint
in watercolour, acrylics, charcoal, pencils and
pens in exercises tailored to suit the children.
Emerging Art-itudes with Alice Haigh Jones
Tuesdays 9 May - 27 Jun 4:00pm - 5:30pm,
Ages: 6-14yrs $165/$155 (members) for eight
weeks. Experienced Art Teacher Alice Haigh
focuses on core techniques and skills in a fun and
friendly environment. Students will complete
works using a range of materials

CONDITIONS OF
ENROLMENT
Minimum class size is 5 students. Classes will be
cancelled if there are insufficient students. If a class
is cancelled, you will be notified by phone as early
as possible prior to class commencement and a
refund will be issued.
Management reserves the right to change tutors,
change class times, venue and structure, or to
reduce the length of the class if there are
insufficient numbers.
Unruly behaviour by children in classes will not be
tolerated. Management reserves the right to
refuse enrolment should circumstances arise.
Refunds will not be given if a student discontinues
a class that has begun, or if less than 48 hours
cancellation notice is given. A $15 administration
fee will be applied to changes in enrolment.

GOSFORD REGIONAL GALLERY
ADULT ART CLASSES
Watercolour with Anne Brack,
Mondays 1 May - 26 Jun 9:00am - 12:00pm, $250/
$235 (members) for eight weeks. This class is suitable
for all students, from beginner to advanced. Students will
be able to work on their own projects and will receive
individual instruction in all methods of watercolour,
including pen and pastels.
Exploring Mixed Media with Belinda Lindhardt,
Mondays 1 May - 26 Jun 12.30pm - 3.30pm, $250/
$235 (members) for eight weeks. This class teaches a
variety of mixed media techniques from fundamentals to
adding textures and combining media. Guided lessons will
be provided for the first half of the term. As inspiration
and confidence builds, students will begin to work
individually and learn different techniques to create their
own artwork. Ideal for beginners and intermediate artists.
Portrait Drawing Sessions: Long Poses
Every Monday 6.30pm - 9pm. February to November.
There is no class on the fifth Monday of the month
when this occurs. $15 per week (pay on night) This is a
drop-in, untutored group which is ideal for those with
some experience, wishing to improve their portrait
techniques or work on one artwork to conclusion. These
sessions are based on one pose for a four week period for
students who wish to work directly from life on paintings,
sculptures or more detailed studies. A new pose
commences on the first Monday of the month and
continues for four consecutive Mondays.
Central Coast Botanical Art Group,
Tuesdays, 2 May - 27 Jun 9am - 12pm , $150 /$140
(members) for nine weeks. This group aims to foster
members’ learning and experimentation in the genre of
botanical art through sharing and discussion. The group
has no regular tutor, however members freely offer
constructive advice to each other. New members are very
welcome.
Plants of the Central Coast with Molly Gill,
Tuesdays, 2 May - 20 Jun 12.30pm - 3.30pm, $250/
$235 (members) for eight weeks. This class will explore
iconic and unique plants endemic to the Central Coast. We
will look into every aspect of these plants, including
geographical distribution, classification, relationships with
other organisms, and morphology. This information will be
used to help us identify, locate and illustrate the plants
with a focus on scientific accuracy and aesthetic
appreciation. We will also dabble in landscape,
incorporating the plants and their habitat into a single
composition. All mediums welcome. As with each term,
different techniques will be introduced.
Approaches to Drawing with Cathryn McEwen
Thursdays, 4 May – 22 Jun 12:30pm – 3:30pm, $250/
$235 (members) for eight weeks. From Perspective to
Expressive. In this introductory class, students will learn a
range of approaches to drawing using a variety of media.
Students will gain confidence in their ability to express
the world around them through the study of man-made
and natural objects in various settings; including
portraiture. Suitable for beginners, or those wishing to
rediscover this wonderful art form.
The course will include lessons on perspective, tone, and
creative approaches to drawing, and an introduction to a
new media and method each week.
Develop expression in your painting with Jon Ellis,
Wednesdays, 3 May - 21 Jun 10am - 3pm, $350/ $335
(members) for eight weeks. Through the guidance of Jon
Ellis, students will learn to develop their own style and
expression. This class will have minimal structure and
students will be set individual tasks based on their level
and areas of interest. Students will gain a thorough
understanding of colour theory, design and composition
and work in a variety of mediums including oil, acrylic and
mixed media. This extended class will allow students to
fully immerse themselves into their project.
Life Drawing Sessions
Every Thursday February - November 6.30pm - 9pm.
$15 per week (pay on night) This is a drop-in group
which requires no booking. This class is ideal for those
with some experience wishing to improve their
technique and build a folio of drawings.
Watercolour with Warwick Webb
Thursdays, 4 May - 22 Jun 9am - 12 pm, $250/$235
(members) for eight weeks. This watercolour class will
develop student’s confidence in use of the medium at a
level suitable to each individual. Continuing with the use of
a limited palette, students will work on developing their
skills and progressing into subjects such as landscape,
street scenes, skies and marine topics.
Pastels Art Group
Fridays, 5 May - 30 Jun 9am - 12pm $150/$135
(members) for nine weeks The Pastels Art Group is a
group of like-minded artists which meets on Friday
mornings in a friendly and supportive environment. The
group has no regular tutor, however members freely
offer constructive advice to each other. Those wishing to
utilise other 2-dimensional water-based media are also
welcome to enrol.
The Artist’s Studio with Alice Haigh Jones
Fridays, 12 May - 30 Jun 12.30pm -3.30pm, $250/
$225 (members) for eight weeks. A class with a Dash
of Panache. Immerse yourself in a friendly environment
where you will be taken through a creative experience as
you discover your hidden talents. Students will develop
their own style under the expert guidance of respected
art teacher Alice Haigh Jones. Beginners are most
welcome.
