Silicea Cold Sore Gel
What is special about Silicea Cold Sore Gel?
Conventional drugs used to treat cold sores frequently have side effects and may
therefore not be used, for example, by pregnant women. Silicea Cold Sore Gel, by
contrast, acts on an entirely natural basis, binding the secreted fluids by purely physical
means and thereby causing the blisters to dry up. The virus is thus bereft of its breeding
ground - and Silicea Cold Sore Gel achieves this entirely without the use of chemicals.
What do I need to keep in mind when I use the gel?
Silicea Cold Sore Gel is dabbed onto the affected areas of skin up to five times a day. It is
important to begin treatment as early as possible, i.e. as soon as you notice the first signs of
itching or tingling. When applying the gel, be sure to observe strict rules of hygiene. Wash your
hands thoroughly before and after dabbing the gel onto the affected spots. After drying, the product
may form a white layer. This is no cause for alarm, as it merely means that the gel is beginning to
take effect.
Is Silicea Cold Sore Gel as a purely natural product less effective than other popular products
used to control herpes viruses?
In a study conducted in 2006 by Prof. Dr. med. Kristian Reich (Dermatologikum Hamburg) for the
purpose of assessing the efficacy of the Silicea Cold Sore Gel in patients suffering from Herpes
labialis it was established that the efficacy of Silicea Cold Sore Gel is comparable to that of an aciclovir
based cream in treatment of cold sore infections. The study examined both the course of the healing
process and the extent of the symptoms of tension, tingling, itching, burning, and pain. The conclusion
drawn in the final study report was that Silicea Cold Sore Gel can be used without any restrictions for
an effective treatment of cold sores.
