Primary Purpose of Role
To proactively deliver cost effective, high quality and timely information enabling TWE to make
informed business decisions in a globally consistent and structured environment.
To provide strategy, direction and thought leadership for the management and delivery of
information and insights and to be a key partner to senior business and IT leadership.
This role is also responsible for the resources that plan, design, implement, and manage
information assets and establishes standards, guidelines and common global practices for the
enterprise to ensure that information is effectively managed - within both BAU and project
contexts. A key focus will be to ensure projects deliver solutions that adhere to a defined BI
operating framework.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:
Information & Knowledge Management
 Establish and implement information strategies aligned to business objectives
 Help drive TWE towards data driven decision making
 Build strong relationships with stakeholders enabling influence across the IT organization
and broader enterprise to drive and support enterprise information strategies
 Lead global improvement initiatives related to the management and delivery of
information and insights
 Liaise with vendors and service providers to identify and select products and services that
best support TWE’s information strategies
 Help drive the direction and evolution of enterprise data and architecture
 Help define and implement best practice for TWE in areas such as standards, principles,
processes and methodologies, infrastructure, applications, quality, rationalization, data
modelling, etc
 Drive and support continuous improvement of enterprise information management
practices to ensure globally consistent data assets that are integrated, understandable,
accessible, and secure
 Contribute to the management cost centre financials (and associated Opex budget)
 Collaborate with other IT functions to ensure consistent approach and application of global
standards
 Provide resource and subject matter expertise as required for projects impacting the
business intelligence area and ensure strong collaboration between projects and BAU
teams/resources
Service Delivery
 Ensure continuity of service across the information management platforms and
applications, including the enterprise data warehouse environment
 Manage support organisations and software vendors to ensure adherence to managed
service agreements
People Management
 Lead a team of geographically dispersed IT Analysts and Senior IT Analysts
 Provide coaching, direction and leadership to team members in order to achieve employee,
business and customer results
 Ensure that personal development programs for all team members are established and
progressed in line with business goals
 Ensure high potential team members are identified, developed and retained in a manner
consistent with organisational objectives. Assist employees to manage their careers
 Create an environment in which people are rewarded for trying new ideas and innovations

Bachelor Degree in a relevant discipline

Competencies:









At least 5 years proven senior management experience in an IT or
operational function
Strong information technology industry knowledge and at least 10 years
demonstrated experience in leading teams in enterprise information
management (including Business Intelligence)
Experience in developing working relationships with executive and senior
management for a similarly sized organisation
Experience with project management and systems design/development
from business requirements analysis to implementation and benefits
realization.
Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to
collaborate effectively
Experience in Wine, Supply Chain, FMCG/CPG or Manufacturing industry
highly desired
Experience in developing strategic roadmaps that align with
organisational goals
Proven people leadership and development skills and experience
Highly developed written and verbal communications skills
