Accounting is often seem as the language of business. The American Accounting
Association define accounting as follows:
"the process of identifying, measuring and communicating economic information to
permit informed judgements and decisions by users of the information.”
People who need financial information include internal users, such as a company's
managers and employees, and external users, such as banks, investors,
governmental agencies and financial analysts.
There are several different types of accounting, including:

Financial Accounting
Management Accounting
Auditing
Tax Accounting
Fund Accounting
Forensic Accounting
