 Fund graduate-level study that relates to one or
more of the areas of focus
 Fund studies for a term of one to four academic
years
 Sponsor the academic studies of an individual
traveling from the international sponsor district
to the host sponsor district
Areas of Focus
•Peace and Conflict Prevention and Resolution
•Disease Prevention and Treatment
•Water and Sanitation
•Maternal and Child Health
•Basic Education and Literacy
•Economic and Community Development
Funding
 The minimum award amount from the World
Fund for a global grant is US$15,000, which
results in a minimum total budget of $30,000.
 The World Fund award is based on a 100 percent
match of DDF ($1.00:$1.00) or a 50 percent
match of cash contributions ($0.50:$1.00).
Scholarship Reporting

Rotarians of both primary sponsoring clubs
must complete a progress or final report through
Member Access every 12 months, from the date
of payment for the duration of the scholarship.
The due date for reports can be found in
Member Access.
 Grant sponsors must upload bank statements
that show the initial receipt of grant funds from
The Rotary Foundation and all subsequent
Foundation payments of grant funds.
Scholarship Reporting
 Sponsoring Rotarians must answer questions in
the report from their point of view, not the
scholar’s.
 If the scholarship is club sponsored, the current
club presidents must authorize the report once it
has been completed. If the scholarship is district
sponsored, the current district Rotary
Foundation chairs must authorize the report.
Scholarship Reporting
 Sponsors must also upload the Global Grants
Scholar Report Supplement completed and
signed by the scholar.
 Note: Scholars should not complete the report
form in Member Access.
