Summary
Dr. Carlos Jahnsen Gutierrez studied Economics at the Free University Berlin. He
graduated 1985 with a Diploma in Economics. He completed his Doctorate with a Dr.
rer. pol. at the Free University of Berlin in 1989. He has acquired extensive experience as Advisor for macroeconomic policy, central banking, financial policies, and
development of training concept in financial matters, development policies, European
integration policies, international development, parliamentary(national and European)
and institutional reform policies and political advisor.
He has proven capacity to analyze, synthesize, organize, participate in and lead interdisciplinary and intercultural teams. He has flexibility and adaptability to work in
different cultural environment. Experience working with international organizations,
World Bank, ADB, KfW, GTZ and, different Parliaments.
