Location: Annapolis, Maryland office with limited travel to restaurant locations ** Summary Rams Head is seeking a Marketing Associate to assist the Marketing & Promotions office. The Marketing Associate will be responsible for executing and developing marketing strategies to support over 400 concerts a year, weekly and monthly restaurant events and promotions, and the Rams Head brand. Working with the General Managers & Executive Team, this role will help to increase the financial objectives of the Rams Head Group. Qualifications Able to understand marketing strategies and how to execute them Self Starter, extroverted, resourceful, innovative & creative thinker Demonstrate logical analysis and problem solving skills Able to build and maintain productive & positive relationships Demonstrate good listening, written, and oral communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment Reflect an appropriate sense of urgency with the ability to prioritize deadlines Proficient in social media platforms Strong writer with excellent proof reading skills Previous marketing experience or knowledge a plus Basic knowledge of HTML, WordPress, Photoshop a plus Responsibilities Moderate & supply relevant and engaging content for social media accounts including, but not limited to: Twitter: @ramsheadgroup, @ramsheadonstage Facebook: 5 restaurants, 1 music venue Instagram: @ramsheadgroup, @ramshead_onstage Rams Head Group Blog Prepare, execute & monitor comprehensive marketing/promotional campaigns: Implement and monitor budgets and projections Develop email blasts sent to 130k+ subscribers Identify and track KPIs Create & distribute press releases to media outlets Work with partners to cross promote Execute contests to increase ticket sales Coordinate all printed marketing materials & delivery Ensure the financial success of individual events Enact both short term and long term promotions Recap events and promotions Ensure proper communication of events to the management teams Be a positive ambassador for the Rams Head brand at all times Attend showcasing events on behalf of Rams Head Continuously develop new ways to generate sales & create excitement Maintain online reputation and community Update all restaurant websites with promotions, events, and live music schedule Build shows in ticketing system and respond to ticket count emails Establish goodwill and build community relationships. Tie-in with local community events, festivals, parades, etc. with cross promotion. Participate in local professional groups.
