Yield to Maturity
View Yield to Maturity information on the bond results pages, providing more data at your fingertips.
•
When viewing search results with callable bonds, click the Ask Yield to Maturity (YTM)
column twice to view bonds in descending order.
•
Callable bonds with a lower Ask Yield to Worst (YTW) but higher YTM display at the top.
•
Although YTM often shows a higher yield than YTW, there is a risk that the bonds may be
called, resulting in an investment return that would be the (lower) YTW and not the YTM.

In general the bond market is volatile, and fixed income securities carry interest rate risk. (As interest rates rise, bond prices usually fall, and vice versa. This effect is usually
more pronounced for longer-term securities.) Fixed income securities also carry inflation risk, liquidity risk, call risk and credit and default risks for both issuers and
counterparties.
