Where does our water come from?
• At your table, discuss where you think our water
comes from.
• Where does the water for the rivers come from?
• Where does the water go when we are done with it?
• How do we make sure we don’t send “used” water
back into the “good” water?!

A watershed is a line of hills or mountains
from which rivers drain (or flow away).
A watershed is also an area of land that
includes a particular river or lake and all the
water that flows into it
