Title: Project Engineer

Job Summary: This individual is responsible for working with the Customer, Project Manager and the Sales Engineer to execute
project solutions. Verifying equipment applications, placing equipment orders, reviewing installation drawings and preparing
maintenance manuals are integral aspects of the position. Inspecting equipment installations and operation and supporting project
start-up and training of the Customer are additional responsibilities of the position.
Primary/Essential Responsibilities:

Designing and applying equipment to complex material handling systems projects.

Working with Elite team to develop project solutions for clients.

Verifies Equipment Applications and ability for equipment to meet project objectives and specifications.

Field measure and verify existing conditions or new construction conditions.

Update proposal drawing to accommodate actual field measurement conditions.

Verify and finalize equipment layouts

Verify and finalize equipment elevation views

Verify and finalize equipment profiles

Develop equipment power requirements and power requirements drawings to include, but not limited to, Electrical Control
Panels and Drop Locations, Control Software PC Location, Scanner Locations, Air Compressor Location and Feed, Air Line
Drop Locations and Feed, Ancillary Equipment Location and Feeds

Finalize equipment Bills of Materials, Colors and Special Requirements

Place equipment orders and schedule deliveries based on project schedule

Develop Permit Application Package

Develop Installation Package Drawings and Installation Data Package

Prepare and Order Spare Parts Package

Prepare Installation and Maintenance Manuals

Site visits as required

Support system Start-Up and Training
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology or Comparable Industry Experience.

Minimum five years’ experience in the Material Handling Industry or as a Capital Equipment Project Engineer.

Well-developed verbal / interpersonal skills required to maintain favorable customer, supplier and team-mate relations.

Ability to work without direct supervision.

High degree of responsibility.

Good judgment regarding Safety on a job-site.

Excellent problem solving, judgment making and organizational skills.

Ability to handle several tasks and projects simultaneously.

Proficient computer skills with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Projects; CRM, and
web searches.

Ability to learn Supplier Business Partner (SBP) software.

Must meet physical requirements of the job.

Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and dependable vehicle.

Must have prompt and regular attendance, self – structured, urgency, will to win, ability to develop meaningful Bonding and
Rapport, have balance in life, and be a team player.
Relationships: Reports to President of ELITE Supply Chain Solutions
Working Conditions: Work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with some flexibility, and may exceed a 40-hour work week as project
needs require. Some overnight travel and weekend work. Site work on job-site locations to include existing operations and new
construction sites. The Hudson, Ohio office location is the Project Engineer’s primary office location. The Project Engineer must have
a reliable car to use for travel. The position is a salaried position and is exempt from paid overtime.
