Set Goals
o It’s important to have Show goals planned out before arriving in Chicago. Use the Objectives Worksheet
to make sure you are prepared.

o Use your Press Release to let the registered press know why they should stop by your booth.

o Whether they’re veterans or new to NRA Show, all your booth staffers need a quick review of onsite
goals and procedures.

Energize Sales Team
o Make a plan to keep your onsite staff energized throughout the Show.

Post-Show Follow-Up Plan
o When you talk to attendees onsite, there’s an expectation of timely follow-up. We suggest within two
weeks. Make sure your entire sales team not only is aware of your follow-up expectations, but also
tracks their progress.

Download Show Marketing Materials
o Download the provided NRA Show marketing materials, including web banners, logos and more.

Rent the Attendee List to Invite Prospects
o Rent the attendee list to email invites to attendees & prospects to your booth at the Show.
o We recommend sending an email to attendees at least once, 1-2 weeks before the Show.

Invite Current Customers/Distributors
o Update your website—Use NRA-provided marketing materials or create your own to alert visitors to
your website to visit you at your NRA Show booth.
o Marketing materials—Make sure to include your booth number on every piece of marketing material
you let loose into the world.
o Email—Include your presence at NRA Show in your email signature
o Note: You can purchase NRA Show attendee badges for your customers or you can use your leftover
allotment. Visit Registration Services in Exhibitor Services for more info.

Alert Social Media Network
o Connect with NRA attendees and drive traffic to your booth via social media using the hashtag
#NRAShow on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Alert the Press
o Prepare press kits to bring to NRA Press Center (Room N228, open Friday noon-5pm).
o Download the 2017 registered press list from Exhibitor Services and send them your press kits.
o Add your press releases in Exhibitor Services.

Update Company Listing

Review & update your company listing and product categories. Company Information will be available for
attendees to view in the Exhibit Guide & Program (select info), the NRA Show website and the mobile
app.
Create Additional List Exposure
o Upload individual products with a description and photo and then identify them (e.g. “Hot Products” or
“Healthy Kids Fare”).
o Add a Show Special to alert attendees if you have a special running in your booth. (e.g. 10% off on
orders taken at show, free shipping, etc).
o Add your Press Release for registered press to view.
Rent Lead Retrieval Machines
o Rent your lead retrieval machine to help you track your leads onsite and make following up post-Show
easy.

Contact Our Sales Team for available sponsorship opportunities to increase your Show exposure
outside your booth.
Exhibitor Services Kit Checklist
o Print the Deadline Checklist to make sure you are hitting all vendor discount deadlines.
PR Form

Fill out the PR Form to alert our Public Relations firm of your unique products, special in-booth
demonstrations, celebrity appearances, etc., so they can be included in Show promotions.
POST SHOW! MAKE THE SHOW COUNT!

Follow up with Leads
o Execute your post-Show follow-up plan by downloading your leads and reaching out. We suggest doing
so within two weeks.

Rent the Attendee List post-Show
o Send a follow-up message to all attendees in your target audience to thank them for attending and
attach sales information in case they missed your booth.
