Exempt
Job Title: Maintenance Porter
Grade Level: G-4
SALARY: Minimum -$11.01/hr.
Division: Direct Care - Maintenance
Midpoint - $ 13.75/hr.
Non-Exempt  
Maximum - $ 16.49/hr.
Minimum Requirements





High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience in general maintenance; such
as light commercial repairs, carpentry work, lawn maintenance, assisting with repairs, preventive
maintenance.
Good driving record and valid driver license.
Ability to use power tools, yard tools and power tools safely.
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs.
Ability to interact with all levels of personnel, take direction and work independently.

The physical requirements for this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to
successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable

Must be able to frequently walk and stand extended time periods.
Repetitive use of hands; reaching and turning;
Ability to lift up to 75 pounds;
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and the ability to adjust
focus.
Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend and stoop.
Responsibilities:







Assist maintenance technicians with various projects.
Assemble furniture, painting (including preparation), heavy cleaning, changing light bulbs and filters.
Transportation of vehicles, supplies and parts as required.
Drive company vehicle in a safe, professional and responsible manner.
Maintain lawns including but not limited to; setting fence posts and signs.
Assist warehouse/inventory personnel with small pickup and delivery requests and other warehouse
duties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Child Care Associates offers a competitive benefits package that is provided to all fulltime employees that
include health, dental and life insurance coverage. Additional voluntary benefits are offered to all fulltime
employees in addition to the core benefits package.
After completing one (1) year of service, the company contributes 4% of the employee’s earnings to the
403(b) retirement plan. If the employee also elects to make a contribution to the plan, Child Care Associates
will match half (50%) of the employee’s contribution up to 2% of base salary.

paid time off (PTO), as well as a Service Recognition Program.
