Decadal change of the deep and upper ocean heat content of the north-east Atlantic

We examine the vertical distribution of trends in heat content of the north-east basin
of the Atlantic Ocean since the late 1980s. The 2010 analysis of Purkey and Johnson
identified this basin as the only one in which the deep water (below 4000m) was
cooling at a rate greater than the uncertainty of their estimate. We analyse 13 fulldepth repeat CTD sections on the A5 (24°N, 1992-2010), A16N (20°W, 1988-2011)
and OVIDE (~50°N, 2002-2010) lines. A formatted abstract like this might be useful
