RCSLT and NHSCSI Webinar: What is the value of rehabilitation and how to quantify this 25th January 2016 12.45 – 13.30 Biographies Jane Nicklin Jane Nicklin is a senior associate at NHS Clinical Soft Intelligence Service. Jane is a senior associate of the NHS Clinical Soft Intelligence Service that has been engaged by NHS England to provide a Community of Practice to support their national rehabilitation programme. She is an independent healthcare adviser with more than 30 years of experience of the NHS. With clinical expertise in neurorehabilitation, Jane has held roles including strategy development in the Department of Health and allied health professions lead for the East of England. Other recent projects include advising on commissioning of pre-registration healthcare education and editing a publication about rehabilitation for the National Cancer Action Team. Jane currently acts as a facilitator for a variety of public and charitable groups, such as the National Lymphoedema Partnership steering group. She has also worked with a variety of charities including the MS Trust, chairing their therapists in MS group, and is currently the clinical trustee for the Fire Fighters Charity. Tara-Lee Baohm Tara-Lee Baohm is the deputy director of strategic delivery for Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Clinical Commissioning Groups. Tara-Lee Baohm is deputy director of strategic delivery with Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs). She delivers major change and transformation programmes across the three CCGs, and led the reconfiguration of intermediate care community services from a commissioner perspective. A qualified social worker, Tara-Lee has 15 years’ experience working within health and social care in the UK and Australia. Her experience includes both operational and strategic/commissioning roles in areas such as: community services, mental health, substance misuse, teenage pregnancy and sexual health and children and families. Carol White Carol White is the deputy director for North East London NHS Foundation Trust. Carol White is deputy director with North East London NHS Foundation Trust (NELFT), the provider of community and mental health services in outer North East London. She is the lead for Havering community and mental health services and is the responsible director for intermediate care community services across Barking and Dagenham, Havering and Redbridge. Carol a qualified mental health nurse with 20 years’ experience working in the NHS and at director level for four years in both mental and community health services. Joanna Parris Joanna Parris is the programme manager for NHS Future-Focused-Finance, Best Possible Value. Jo Parris is the programme manager for the Best Possible Value work stream of NHS FutureFocused-Finance. The programme offers a suite of evidence-based tools that supports finance business partners in placing value at the heart NHS decision making. She joined the NHS as a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 2010 and has since enjoyed specialising as a costing and contracting accountant. As a self-confessed numbers and technical geek, Jo has particularly delighted in delivering service line reporting to mental health and community provider trusts. She is passionate about making better use of measured patient outcomes system-wide to pursue best possible value for patients and taxpayers.
