M. E. (Chemical) Project Management in
Chemical Industries Academic Year 2012-13
Salient Features:
In today’s global and fast paced environment, success on complex project cannot be guaranteed by technical competence
alone, consequently there is a need of reality based project
management skills and expertise. The Gujarat Technological
University take steps in to fulfill these requirements of industryready-pass-outs by starting a unique course in “Project Management for Chemical Industries” in collaboration with L & T
Institute of Project Management, Vadodara. This is a distinctive Post Graduate Academic Program of its kind, offered for
the first time in India dedicated to “Project Management in
Chemical Industries”. Our program emphasizes more on industry oriented skill development where candidates will eventually
study complete life cycle process in Chemical Industry. This
course covers Technical, Design, Management, Financial and
other aspect of Chemical and Allied Industry Projects. This
program encourages effective interaction with industry professionals and University experts.
The program offered by Gujarat Technology University will be
conducted at L & T Institute of Project Management, Chiyoda,
Vadodara.
Eligibility for Admission: B.E./B.Tech. Degree in Chemical/
Petroleum /Petroleum & Petrochemicals/ Chemical Technology/ Rubber Technology /Plastic Technology/ Bio Technology/
Polymer Technology/ Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science and Technology or equivalent and having valid GATE
score or those sponsored/non-sponsored candidates who have
appeared in Common Entrance Test 2012 conducted by ACPC
for M. E. Programs.
For the above programs:
Admission Procedure : Admission procedure shall be carried out by Admission Committee for
Professional Courses
Duration of Course
: Full time two year course
(4 semesters)
Fee Structure
: Rs. 70,000/- per year (Tentative)
