The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) will review and conduct training for nursing home
providers and MDH surveyors/investigators on CMS S&C Memo 11-30-NH REVISED 08.12.11
Reporting Reasonable Suspicion of a Crime in a Long-Term Care Facility (LTC): Section 1150B of the
Social Security Act during this phone call.
MDH will review this CMS memo and update listeners about content areas. MDH will continue to work
with involved parties such as CMS, consumers, providers, law enforcement and others to jointly address
areas for ongoing implementation.

entered into the CMS federal data base for surveys conducted between October, 2010-September, 2011.
