The KISS FOUNDATION will make available to all clients the following services:
The K.I.S.S. Foundation, Inc. – Lia House offers a 30 – 120 day residential treatment program
(halfway). The program incorporates a 12-step recovery program in each day which includes life skills
classes, Anger Management & Parenting Classes and OSU Eating Right and Getting Fit Classes.

30 Day to 6 month Halfway program – No Charge
Recovery Services:
This service will consist of a program based on the twelve steps and principles of recovery found in
Alcoholics Anonymous. This will include 12 step meetings, studying the text book of the Alcoholics
Anonymous program along with daily groups. All of these will be required of all clients.
Life Skills Training:
This service will include classes on stress and anger management along with parenting skills. In
addition there will be GED classes for those without a high school diploma. One of the most
important trainings offered will be financial management skills to provide the client with banking and
financial tools to allow the client to learn to manage money and plan for the future. Resume writing
and job interviewing will also be provided. Basic computer skills training will be available. Each
client’s specific needs will be customized into a personal plan of life skills training. As part of the
customized approach we will be developing relationships with other service providers to assist us in
meeting the needs of our clients.
Family Services:
This service is to provide the family of the client to be involved and aware of the client’s disease and
his progress in recovery. This service will be a regularly scheduled session for the family to come to
the facility and openly discuss concerns questions etc. in a safe environment so they too can recover
from the disease that has affected them as part of being involved with the client. The management
team at the KISS FOUNDATION see this particular service as one that is most often overlooked and is
vital to the successful rebuilding of the family unit.
Community Service:
This service has been established to provide the client with the opportunity to get into the community
and give back through volunteering. This will allow the client to become a part of the community and
learn to give back by doing things like shoveling snow for neighbors, cutting grass etc. It is the hope
of the management team that we build relationships with community leaders that will allow us to
participate in projects for the community. In addition this service is being provided to address the
needs of clients who need to perform community service for the courts. The KISS FOUNDATION is in
the process of becoming a Cuyahoga County Court approved community service facility.
