POSITION PURPOSE:




The Email Marketing Executive will lead email marketing across all Intrepid Group brands in the EMEA region
They will be responsible for email design, build, content creation and execution on a day-to-day basis, as well as
set up automation and eCRM programs
A key responsibility of this role will be to ensure the successful implementation of Salesforce, and ensure that
the data migration process proceeds smoothly
They will be involved in designing the email strategy, including data segmentation and email personalisation
DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
 1+ years’ email marketing experience.
 Proven experience in email marketing - delivering inspirational email marketing campaigns to budget and
successful promotion of a brand.
 Experience using one or more eMarketing Platforms, preferably ExactTarget/Salesforce Marketing Cloud
 Experience working with a CRM system and/or data, preferably Salesforce
 Proficient in Google Analytics and eMarketing analytics
 Experience managing email marketing and eCRM campaigns
 Experience designing eCRM programs for retention and sales
 An understanding and experience with of dynamic content, segmentation, automation, split testing,
personalisation and testing plans
 Excellent communication and relationship skills.
 Proven track record in integrating effective offline and online communication strategies.
OTHER SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
 Knowledge of the UK and European travel market and broad personal travel experience.
 ‘Can do’ pragmatic attitude with a strong personal drive to achieve.
 An understanding of and belief in the Intrepid Group core values.
 Basic to mid-level HTML skills
 Understanding of eMarketing best practice and metrics
 Ability to think analytically and put forward new ideas
 Effective time-management skills including the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
IMPORTANT NOTES:
 This is a rewarding job with a very dynamic company.
 Working in marketing can be demanding at times and requires dedication and close attention to detail.
 At busy times you may be asked to work additional hours to help clear work (especially when the deadlines for
major projects are approaching).
 Flexible approach: Be prepared to support ad-hoc marketing projects as requested by the Marketing Director.


marketing and wider company goals.
