Beginner Level
Teacher gives cell a simple command.
Cell has 60 seconds to complete the task.
Cell may only pass notes from one organelle to the next.
Intermediate Level
Teacher gives cell a simple command.
Cell has 60 seconds to complete the task.
Cell may only pass notes from one organelle to the next.
Teacher gives another command 30 seconds after first command.
Teacher continues giving commands until cell cannot perform all
functions in less then 60 seconds.
Mastery Level
Teacher gives cell a simple command.
Cell has 30 seconds to complete the task.
Cell may only pass notes from one organelle to the next.
Teacher gives another command 15 seconds after first command.
Teacher continues giving commands until cell cannot perform all
functions in less then 30 seconds.
Suggested commands: Teacher puts these on note cards and hands
out as needed.
Make a
protein.
Get rid of
waste from a
vacuole.
Have the cell
move and
change its
shape.
Bring food
from outside
the cell into
the cell and
digest that
food.
Send a
message
from DNA in
the nucleus
to the
ribosomes.
Bring energy
from the
mitochondria
to the Golgi
apparatus.
Make a
protein and
use it to
repair the cell
membrane.
Allow sugar
Allow water
molecules to
molecules to
enter the cell. exit the cell.
