Recent developments
In 2011, Croatian footwear imports have decreased for the third consecutive
year, returning to the level they had in 2004. Over the last five years, imports
from Italy have fallen, while those from China continued to increase. Croatian
exports decreased in terms of volume but, thanks to a growing average price,
increased in terms of value. Germany, Austria and Italy are its most significant
markets.
