What spencer suggested in a living organism is that the biological systems work together to maintain the
organism’s health, also that like a living organism he believed that the society is a set of interdependent
parts that will work together to maintain a system over periods of time.
Why is he/she considered a Key Player-?
Spencer is a key player due to the study of natural and social sciences Spencer helped us understand the
behavior of animals which is closely related to humans which also help us understand human behavior
as well. As well as animals begin related to human society behavior Spencer believed that the only
fittest societies would survive throughout time, leading into a general upgrading world.

He believed that through the structure the society is influenced by how the economy was organized.
Such as the bourgeoisie also known as the capitalist and the Proletariat also known as the workers.
Marx believed that the imbalance power between the capitalists and the workers would eventually lead
to a conflict among each groups.
Why is he/she considered a key player-?
He helped to develop a better understanding to the structure of the society. Emphasis on the conflict
changed led to a development of a major perspective known as Conflict Theory.
His beliefs on Society’s economy system strongly influenced its social structure and has had long lasting
influence on sociology

Focused on the study of the effect of society on an individual.
Weber though that sociologists should go further into the studying that can be directly observed, and
attempted to uncover the society/people’s feelings as well as their thoughts using Verstehen.
Why is he considered a key player-?
He helped the people be able to examine many different examples of the feature using the ideal type.
Also helped people by using the Verstehen one would put themselves in the place of others while trying
to see the situation through their eyes.
