Journal: Write about someone that you are upset with. Now
think about whether or not you can forgive him/her.
Brainstorm: Think about how you typically react when you
are angry or upset. Brainstorm ways to positively “let off
steam” when you are upset rather than focusing on negative
ways to react.

Start the unit by reading myths from various cultures. To
extend this activity have students perform a play.
