Ancient China Prezi Presentation
Your Task: Each student will be required to choose a topic to research relating to Ancient China. You will need to:
1. Research your topic and organize your notes in your own words
2. Include a simple bibliography- keep records of the specific web pages you used – include a list
of those sites at the end of your presentation
3. Read and review the information you gathered
4. Gather at least 10 important pieces of information regarding your topic that will make up the
majority of your presentation
5. Include several pictures relating to your topic
6. Include some sort of title with your name clearly visible
What you will do:
Create a presentation using www.prezi.com that includes your title, name, information, pictures, and bibliography
sources.
1. All writing/information must be completed by you and NOT copied and pasted word for word from
your internet source.
2. Each piece of information and picture choice must be historically accurate.
3. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation COUNT!
Presentation:
You will present your PREZI to the class. You should rehearse your presentation so that you are not just reading it
to us from the screen. Speak loudly and clearly and face your audience please.
Project topics include but are not limited to:
People: Shi Huangdi, Wudi, Genghis Khan, Marco Polo, Empress Wu Zetian, Sima Qian
Architecture: The Great Wall of China, The Forbidden City, the Silk Road, Pagodas, The Grand Canal, Temple of
Heaven
Religions: Confucius, Daoism, Buddhism, Gods and Goddesses
Dynasties: Qin, Han, Tang, Song, Ming
History of: Chinese New Year, Lantern Festivals, Animals of the Zodiac, dragons, terracotta army, Han tombs
Achievements/Inventions: silk, paper, gunpowder, currency, kites, printing
Daily Life: family, food, homes, clothing
Education: writing/paper, math, science, fables/folktales
Timeline to completion: You have 4 days to research AND get your presentation made. YOU MUST USE YOUR
CLASSTIME VERY WISELY!!
Day 1: Narrow down your topic and begin taking notes on your subject – write down ALL of the websites you got
information from.
Day 2: Continue research and begin figuring out what will be in your presentation and make sure it is in your own
words
Day 3: Begin your PREZI. Take your information and organize it into your presentation. Don’t forget to add
pictures.
Day 4: Finish your PREZI and make sure you have checked information for accuracy
Check that you have checked all spelling, grammar, and punctuation
And rehearse your presentation.
