▪ Managed the RFP process for a $1.125 million grant from the Department of Justice for a national training and
technical assistance resource center.
▪ Worked on a project evaluation RFP for the State of Massachussetts that successfully raised $118,125.
▪ Advised the Washington State Liquor Control Board on regulatory concerns for building a legal recreational
marijuana industry from scratch. This included product and industry knowledge, quality standards and testing,
compliance with federal policy guidance, usage and consumption projections, and product regulation.
▪ Additional clients included the LAPD Foundation, analyzing the link between DUIs and violent criminal
history; Cornerstone Research, providing research and analysis on tobacco regulation, e-cigarettes, and black
markets for FDA testimony; and Givewell/Good Ventures and the Smith Richardson Foundation for research
into the implications of marijuana legalization.
