Job Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive and Practice Lead Celedinas Insurance Group, A Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC Company City: Palm Beach Gardens, FL Established in 1959 and headquartered in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Celedinas specializes in providing property/casualty insurance, marine insurance, and employee benefits services to businesses and individuals. Role Overview Provides leadership, strategic direction, and oversight of department resources, including effective communication of service standards and Agency goals. Has direct supervision of a team of Account Managers, Marketing associates and service personnel. Provides full support to and acts on behalf of producer whenever necessary or requested. Assists producers’ solicitation of prospects/clients, markets commercial accounts to insurers and assists in the sale of the best available combination of price, coverage and services for new & renewal commercial clients. Assists in achieving producer and agency profitability goals and in meeting or surpassing agency’s carrier premium commitments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Directly manages a team of Account Managers, Marketing associates and service personnel. • Reviews submissions from Producer for accuracy and completeness of data. • Makes appointments and follows-up with clients/prospects obtaining sufficient information to prepare complete submissions/applications, supplemental applications, spreadsheets, etc. • Performs a review of each line of business to determine possible coverage gaps and recommended enhancements. • Underwrites risk utilizing agency resources and relationships to fully identify all available standard and non-standard carriers, programs, etc. for each line of business. • Submits account to viable markets and negotiates best coverage, price, terms and conditions assuring reasonable profitability to the agency and company while providing the best coverage to suit client’s needs. • Compiles quotations, proposals, schedules of insurance and applications/required forms. • Makes recommendations, based on client’s exposures and quotes being presented to client/prospect, suggesting changes, additions, and/or deletions when appropriate. • Presents proposal and discusses coverage(s) with client when appropriate. • Keeps producer informed and abreast of problems, changes in price, coverage, etc. on an ongoing basis. • Insures proper payment arrangements are agreed to by purchaser in-line with policies and procedures of agency and/or company. • Continually monitors staffing requirements and makes recommendations as needed. • Disseminates information through regular meetings and communications. • Ensures fair and equitable distribution of accounts/workloads. • Coordinates internal resources for proposals, new business assignments and special projects. • Ensures compliance with corporate and legal standards. • Keeps abreast of competitive posture of agency and changes in marketplace. Job Requirements • Minimum 10 years commercial lines insurance marketing of middle market and/or risk management accounts. • 2-20, Property and Casualty License • Excellent customer-service skills • Sense of urgency and works well under pressure • Analytical-technically oriented • Strong attention to detail and follow through • Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred If you are interested in this position, please email your resume & cover letter stating your experience in the insurance industry to [email protected].
